1998 MBK 'Club' 50cc moped Hardly used Nice condition overall in Liverpool, Merseyside for sale

This moped was purchased in Brittany in April 2001 and has remained unused in my heated shed, ever since ! It ran and rode very well when tested prior to handing over the French Francs for it way back. It hasn't been started since but the engine and cycle parts all run freely. With some 'fettling' it should be up and running quickly. From it's appearance, it hasn't done many miles by the previous owner i.e. from registration to my purchase, 3 years later. It was sold to me because the lady who owned it had fallen off and was unhappy about riding it, again. Unfortunately, as can be seen from the photos, damage was done the the nearside half of the handlebars (some bending upwards and inwards) and one of the pedal crank arms (deformed). It should not take much in time or cost to rectify these. The handlebar has little or no bearing g on the handling of the moped. The crank arm will need replacing if you intend doing a lot of 'cycling' with this machine!! The moped comes with a small manual(in French!), a 'Carnet De Garantie' + a 'Notice Descriptive Pour Cyclomoteur Type: NM3', the latter important when sorting the registration Plus a new spark plug and a lighting diagram!!!
