Maths, English, SATs, 11+ Qualified teacher with 17 years experience for home tuition in Liverpool, Merseyside

I am a fully qualified Primary teacher with 17 years experience. I am an English and Maths specialist teaching both subjects at Keystage 1 and 2 with Maths to Keystage 3. I cover the National Curriculum, SATs and 11+. Most of my work comes through parent referrals but I do have a few places available for home tuition. I have an excellent reputation for outstanding SATs results and gaining student's places at independent schools. I am passionate about teaching, friendly and informal and always make my student's feel comfortable and confident. I have in depth knowledge of the subjects I teach due to my experience, and my aim is always to engage young people in the subject and make the lessons enjoyable, build up their ability to excel and achieve, and provide lots of praise and encouragement.
